Assimilation diagnostic discs for identification of clinically significant species of yeasts. Principle is based on ability of yeasts to assimilate carbohydrates and other chemicals diffused from disc into agar, what causes that grow of strain is stimulated around assimilation disc. Codes C53MR1029 – C53MR1045 require the folowing medium: (NH4)2SO4, KH2PO4, MgSO4, agar, yeast extract, water); Codes C53MR1046-C53MR1048 require the folowing medium: KH2PO4, MgSO4, agar, water.
