These 20 mm aluminum crimp cap seals, septa, and autosampler vials are designed to provide a secure and reliable seal for demanding laboratory applications, particularly in headspace and volatile compound analysis.
The autosampler vials are manufactured from high-quality borosilicate glass, available in clear Type I Class A or amber Type I Class B glass. Each vial includes a write-on identification patch for easy sample labeling and traceability. Both flat-bottom and round-bottom vial designs are available, offering flexibility for different laboratory workflows.
The crimp caps are produced from high-quality lacquered aluminum with a thickness of 0.010 inches, ensuring durability and a consistent seal during analytical procedures. Caps are available in silver only.
A wide range of septa options is available, manufactured from premium materials to ensure reliable sealing and injection performance. Pre-slit septa options are also available to allow smooth needle penetration during injections.
The septum configuration includes 0.120″ natural silicone with a 0.005″ natural PTFE layer, designed specifically for high-demand headspace analysis of volatile compounds at temperatures up to 200 °C. The high-quality silicone compound helps ensure effective resealing after injection while minimizing the risk of septum coring.
Each septum is pre-conditioned to reduce septum bleed, which helps maintain analytical accuracy in sensitive applications. In addition, the absence of pigments eliminates potential contamination sources, making these vials and seals ideal for high-purity analytical work.
